PESA is honored to be invited to the Coalition to Cure CHD2 Family and Scientific Conference in Westminster, Colorado, June 13-15, 2025

Our Director of Patient and Family Advocacy, Audrey Vernick, will be sharing her expertise on two important panels:

Preparing for the Future: Discussing transition planning, self-advocacy skills, and practical strategies for families navigating the journey from pediatric to adult care.

Self-Care: Caring for CDH2 Caregivers and Children: Offering insights on supporting both caregivers and children through the challenges of living with a complex neurological condition.

The Coalition to Cure CHD2 conference brings together families, clinicians, and researchers focused on this rare genetic epilepsy. This collaboration aligns perfectly with the mission of the Pediatric Epilepsy Surgery Alliance to support families navigating complex neurological conditions and epilepsy surgery journeys.
