Get Involved
Are you ready to give back? There are many things you can do to make a big impact for our community.
Serve as a peer supporter
We’re actively recruiting parents, primary caregivers, and grandparents of children who have had epilepsy surgery to serve as volunteer peer supporters. Peer supporters come from a wide range of socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds and are required to complete 4 – 6 months of training in evidence-based peer support practices.
Share your story
Do you have a story to share about your child’s epilepsy surgery journey? Stories are powerful ways to share our experiences, facts, and hard truths while also providing others with hope for the future.
We’re looking for diverse voices, experiences, and outcomes so that families anywhere on the pediatric epilepsy surgery journey can have a roadmap of what to expect. Share your story with us and help another parent just starting their journey.
Let’s Make Things Happen
Together we are a powerful alliance of parents, caregivers, doctors, educators, families, and researchers moving mountains for children who need neurosurgery to treat their seizures.
